I am a strong believer in complementary and alternative treatments both for cancer treatment as well as to improve health and quality of life during conventional therapies. Doctors in allopathic (conventional) medicine focus on getting rid of your cancer cells. However, while conventional is often a great start, nutritional, supplemental and other complementary therapies can help you to reclaim a life of health and wellness by supporting your body both during and post treatment.
The key to survival is often changing the environment in which cancer was able to develop. The development of cancer is an indication that the body lacks the support necessary to destroy cancer cells. If we focus on the underlying conditions that may have contributed to the disease, we can likely prevent recurrence or new cancers. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT): oxygen is carried by red blood cells, but there is a limit to how much oxygen the cells can carry. In a hyperbaric chamber, pure oxygen is delivered under pressure, which has the effect of dissolving oxygen into the plasma – delivering as much as 10 times more oxygen and reaching further into the tissues. That provides fuel for healing and re-growth. Cancer prefers an oxygen-free environment.

Hyperthermia: cancer treatment in which body tissue is exposed to high temperature, typically 113 degrees, in order to kill cancer cells. (to date, hyperthermia treatments in the US are not given at the same therapeutic high temperatures as outside of this country.)
DCA According to their website, “Dichloroacetate (DCA) works by restoring the suppressed mitochondrial function and rendering the “bad cells” noncancerous. TESTING
The AMAS Test —AMAS stands for anti-malignin antibody in serum. The test looks for the presence of a substance called “malignin”, a marker for cancer in the body, by detecting antibodies to it in the blood. Antibodies are proteins made by the immune system that help the body to fight disease. While not a perfect test, the assumption is that anti-malignin antibody levels are higher in people with early stage cancer, presumably offering a way of determining whether cancer is present somewhere in the body.
